We can't hide our excitement here ar Novakid - many of our teachers, students and staff are Swifties! Naturally, we were thrilled to drive into Taylor Swift’s latest album, "The  Tortured Poets Department.”

We knew the new album would throw up some complex words our kids learning English wouldn't quite understand. What we didn't expect was there would be a bunch of words in there that are a struggle for native English speakers of all ages too!

In our analysis of the album, dissecting each song song for these tricky phrases, we decided to check Google trends over the weekend. The results were astonishing - Google searches for the expressions we highlighted skyrocketed worldwide!

For example, in her song "But Daddy I love Him", she sings the line, "Sanctimoniously perfoming soliloquies I'll never see.”This phrase piqued people's curiosity, causing the words "sanctimoniously” and "sololoquies” to reach their highest peak in popularity on Google in over five years, as listeners who were unfamiliar with these terms searched for more information.
